Well technically it was true in that my BG was not high enough *when measured*. You can miss a lot of people by only looking at FBG or 2 hour postprandials, like the woman who scored 3.1: I'd like to see her number an hour after eating a bunch of carbs!<br /><br />The only good thing is that delayed diagnosis meant I was not put on the Healthy High Carb Low Fat diet years earlier: until I was I was only worsening slowly.<br /><br />AFAICR 80% of obese people are not diabetic and 20% of Type 2s are not overweight. The latter number may be an underrestimate if doctors only test overweight patients.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
